Dutch classic coastal cruiser: compact, solid and predictable at sea.
The Contest 27 is a Dutch classic sailboat designed by Dick Zaal and built by Contest Yachts / Conyplex in the Netherlands between 1969 and 1975 (approx. 207 units). With its displacement, high ballast ratio and fin keel with skeg-hung rudder, it is a more serious platform than many lightweight boats of its size: robust construction, stability and predictable handling.
