Manifesto

We structure complete nautical operations.

Buying a vessel demands far more than finding an attractive listing. It requires reviewing condition, paperwork, flag, location, price, transport costs, marina, insurance, survey, temporary import, nationalization and the real operating viability. Bramante Boats supports the buyer in sourcing, preselection, broker or owner contact, preliminary analysis, documentary coordination, transport and entry of the vessel.

Buying a boat begins with a correct structure for sourcing, review, negotiation, transport and entry.

Commitment

A serious search requires commitment

Bramante Boats works with searches activated through an initial fee and a search agreement. This allows real time to identify opportunities, filter vessels, contact brokers or owners, review available paperwork, compare costs and structure the operation seriously.

If the buyer is ready to move forward, we are ready to structure the search.
Process

From buyer profile to vessel entry

  1. 01

    Buyer profile

We define boat type, length, budget, intended use, search area and final destination.

  2. 02

    Quotation and contract

We present the initial fee, scope of the search, timeframe, number of opportunities and brokerage conditions.

  3. 03

    Search activation

The client pays the initial fee and signs the search, advisory and intermediation agreement.

  4. 04

    Preselection of opportunities

We identify compatible vessels, contact brokers or owners and prepare a professional preselection.

  5. 05

    Analysis and negotiation

If the client decides to move forward on an option, we coordinate documentary information, survey, offer, negotiation and a preliminary cost review.

  6. 06

    Transport

We assess whether the vessel will be moved under sail, by maritime transport, RoRo, flat rack, special cargo or another logistics method.

  7. 07

    Entry and import

We structure the logistics of entry, temporary import, nationalization or stay under foreign flag, as applicable.

Import · Flag

Temporary import, nationalization or stay under foreign flag

When the applicable regulations allow it, a vessel may keep its foreign flag and enter under a temporary import scheme or authorized stay. Bramante Boats supports the structuring of the case, coordination with agents, preliminary documentary review and associated cost analysis.

We can also support scenarios of definitive import, nationalization, maritime transport, specialized transport, marina reception, documentary coordination and cost analysis based on country of origin, flag, ownership, destination and intended use.

Each operation is evaluated case by case. Temporary import, nationalization, permits, taxes, fees, port charges, insurance, marina and third-party expenses are not included in the initial search fee.
Intermediation

Success fee and protected opportunities

When the operation moves toward purchase, Bramante Boats seeks its commission preferably through co-brokerage with the seller, owner or selling broker.

Every vessel, owner, broker, contact, listing, technical sheet, quotation, document or negotiation presented, identified or handled by Bramante Boats is protected under the search and intermediation agreement.
